Iranian Foreign Relations in Africa
Iran has extended its political and economic relations into Africa in recent years, forging bilateral trade relations in South Africa and political cooperation with Sudan. Iran has also used its connections with many African countries, through multilateral forums such as the Non-Aligned Movement, to deepen its bilateral relations with numerous states in the region.
