Economic Cooperation Organization

The Economic Cooperation Organization is an intergovernmental cooperation organization founded by Iran, Turkey, and Pakistan in 1985.  The organization, which currently includes the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Republic of Uzbekistan in addition to its founders, aims to promote economic, cultural, and technological cooperation amongst its members.
