Barclays-Business Halt

description

In late 2006, Barclays, in response to pressure from Washington, stopped acting as the bank for British customers doing business with Iran.  Later, in 2008, to further comply with American anti-terror laws, shut down the accounts of British citizens working with Iranian companies.
