CNPC - NIOC South Azadegan Field Development

description

In pursuance of a non-binding MOU, China will receive a 70 percent stake in the South Azadegan oilfield in exchange for funding 90 percent of the development costs of the field.  Japan's Inpex holds a 10% stake.  South Azadegan field could produce 260,000 barrels of oil per day.
