Daewoo-Oil tanker Contract
description
In 2005, Iran contracted both Daewoo and Hyundai Engineering to build 10 more large oil tankers. The Islamic Republic sought to double its fleet of large tankers by 2010 due to rising crude costs. This contract was completed in August of 2009.
