description
A Malaysian company, set up by an Iranian engineer, Majid Kakavand, has been charged with transfering U.S. technology to Iran. Kakavand and his associates used the company to purchase U.S. goods, and trans-ship them via Malaysia to Iran. This is only the most recent case of Malaysia being used to route American electronic equipment and other goods into Iran.
