description
Tthe National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Gazprom have signed an agreement for the development of Iran’s oil and gas fields. Gazprom will cooperate in developing Iran’s North Azadegan oil field, transferring oil from the Caspian Sea to the Sea of Oman, swapping of Russian gas, technology transfers and constructing a refinery in northern Iran. There is also an agreement for a joint venture in developing Iran’s South Pars field.
