HP - HP B.V. - Redington Gulf, Business Halt

description

As of August 18, 2009, Hewlett Packard's Dutch subsidiary Hewlett Packard B.V. engaged in trade with the Dubai-based distributor Redington Gulf. Redington Gulf in turn sold printers in Iran. In 2008, the U.S.-based company brought in an estimated  $120 million from Redington Gulf business in Iran. Hewlett Packard has since tightned restrictions on Hewlett Packard B. V. to prevent them from selling printers to Iran though this does not seem to have worked.
