description
As part of its efforts to modernize its civil aviation fleet after a series of high profile crashes, Iran plans to purchase the Sukhoi Superjet. Each plane costs $28 million, comparatively cheaper than competitors. Russian aviation company, Sukhoi, will provide an unspecified number of planes.
