Germany's MRK Corporation has signed an MoU with the Kish Free Economic Organization for 500 million euros to develop infrastructure on Kish Island. Iran hopes to make Kish a center for tourism in the Persian Gulf. Projects include an airport and exhibition centers. MRK already has $2.5 billion invested across Iran including a subway in southern Iran.
