Reliance Halts Petrol Exports to Iran

One of India's largest petrol exporters, Reliance, suspended gasoline exports to Iran, valued at some $280 million.  In May 2009, Reliance shipped 30,150 barrels of gasoline to the Islamic Republic. Reliance said it would continue importing crude oil.   As of 2008, Reliance exported 5 million barrels of oil a day to the United States.
