Russian Helicopter Holding Company and Fanavaran ASEMAN have signed an agreement for the sale of civilian helicopters in Iran. Fanavaran ASEMAN will become Russian holding company's official representative in Iran. Iran has a large helicopter fleet, but mostly in use by the military. Russia expects Iran to increase its civilian helicopter fleet by 60 percent and will promote itsMi-171and Ka-226T models.
