Sinopec - NIORDC Abadan Refinery Expansion

Sinopec is working on an MOU to expand refining capacity at Abadan, including increasing gasoline production at the facility by 29 percent. The deal is reputed to be worth $6 billion accordin to the director of the National Iranian Refining and Distribution Company. Other sources indicate the Abadan refinery expansion may cost only $3.76 billion USD.
