Sofregaz is currently working on two projects, one of which it resumed after a delay of 18 months. Sofregaz is contracted to build underground storage facilities for natural gas. Iran has said that will renew a tender for a natural gas storage facility if France's Sofregaz fails to meet its obligations. The main project in Varaminhas been stalled for 18 months awaiting adequate financing.
